Commercial w allpaper and commercial wall coverings is probably one of the most confusing and misinterpreted aspects to painting and decorating, it is predominantly applied by only a handful of skilled installers and unfortunately a lost art to all but a select few painting company’s.
MPD are proud of our place within this market, we carry numerous installers and are able to handle even the largest of contracts. Our experience gained from working in the UK and overseas enables us to create beautiful results with even the most difficult of materials.
With various types of commercial wallpaper and  wall coverings such as Wide vinyl, Silk, Suede, Leather, Grass Clothe, glass bead, timber veneer and flock to name but a few, each one with its own system of hanging plus the various substrates, preparation, primers and adhesives it is a must you know what you are doing. This is where we can help, we offer a full survey and advisory service, we will give quantities to the client or we can supply.
Surface preparation is vitally important and can make a huge difference to the end result; our team of qualified painters have been trained in the use of trowels and will flush whole areas of walls if required, sand and seal them ready for the wall-covering installers.
