Mandurah Painters & Decorators (MPD) predominantly services the Tier 1 Construction Industry, however, we also work direct for government agencies, architects and interior designers.


Established in 2007 we are now the leading and most recognised painting company in Western Australia due to the completion of many iconic buildings throughout Perth and surrounding regions.

  • Architectural Painting: Typically the use of acrylic and solvent based paints used on commercial buildings such as apartment blocks, hotels, and carparks;


  • Protective Coating: Brush, roller and spray painting of steel using epoxy coating systems, highly regulated, tested and recorded using Inspection and Test Plans (ITP’s);


  • Floor Coating: Typically applied to carpark and warehouse floors, we include full preparation and grinding prior to application of epoxy coating systems;


  • Texture Coatings: Roll-on texture, membrane and trowel on texture;


  • Anti Graffiti Coating: Various epoxy and penetrative coating systems to protect against vandalism;


  • Wall Coverings: Supply and installation of all types of wall coverings such as commercial vinyl, fabrics, silks, timber veneer and custom graphics;


  • Heritage Refurbishment: All areas of painting and wall covering inclusive of consultation, testing and painting of original coating systems such as lime wash, shellac, tung oil etc;


  • Lead Paint Stripping: Industry leaders in the removal of lead paint, using various methodologies such as chemical poultice and pressure steam. Our Lead Paint Management Plan has been developed to ensure WorkSafe compliance with OHS and environmental protection.

Experience

Ian Glen, Director of MPD, has 30 plus years of high-level industry experience. He has run successful companies in multiple countries and has been contracted on projects in Japan, South Korea, France and Italy.


Ian is a previous President of Master Painters Association and former Director of MPA Skills (Painting & Plumbing Apprentice Training).


All MPD employees have worked in both construction and painting for many years. Our site supervisors are some of the best in the industry; they have several commercial projects under their belt and understand how to best manage a large team of painters. They are trained in the importance of occupational health and safety, quality assurance and deliverables.

MPD are a fully accredited and registered company. All of our work is warranted with a back to back manufacturer’s warranty, this is achieved by being a Dulux Accredited Member and a Member of the Master Painters & Decorators Australia Association.


Our expertise in regards to specification paired with our vast experience preparing and applying many paint systems ensures the longevity of the paint coatings on your project.
